VisionFund Microfinance signed a ‘Strategic Partnership Framework’ agreement with World Vision Ethiopia on July/2022 at Nexus Hotel where all parties exist.

The agreement’s main goal is to strengthen partnerships between both Organizations more effectively and efficiently by exploring areas of partnership for the short and long term with the objective of broadening and deepening their impact on children and the community. Mr. Taye Chimdessa, CEO of VisionFund Microfinance, signed the agreement on behalf of VisionFund Microfinance and stated that VisionFund has worked cooperatively with World Vision Ethiopia for many years to eradicate poverty in the community. He added that VisionFund is the country’s leading microfinance institution and is in the process of announcing additional new digital financial services; thereby, the agreement is historic for both organizations to collaborate to address community problems by increasing commitment. Karmen Till, World Vision Ethiopia’s Interim National Director also said, World Vision Ethiopia signed the agreement specifically to work together with VisionFund Microfinance in the areas of operational integration, financial services, administrative support, technology backup, and capacity building.
